It was July 3rd, 1957 in Akron, Ohio at around 11:10 PM when a young man who recently turned 21 years old, Frank Freshwaters, was driving along the southbound lane of Arlington Drive. His car was not in great condition and did not have a functioning horn or emergency brake. He also did not have car insurance. As he neared 1000 Linton Drive, he suddenly saw a man crossing the road near his home right in front the car. Traveling at about 40 miles per hour, he tried to stop but was unable to do so in time and collided with 24-year old Eugene Flynt. Flynt was seriously injured and died at 12:01 AM, less than an hour after the collision. Eugene Flynt Freshwaters was arrested and booked on 2nd degree manslaughter charges, because according to prosecutor Robert Blakemore, he was speeding and driving an unsafe vehicle when the accident occurred. Welcome back to the channel and in today’s video, we’ll be looking back at some of the worst presidents in the history of the United States, at least in my personal opinion, which will most likelyh differ from yours so I’d love to hear your thoughts in that comment section down below. Once upon a time, an extremely larger than life and popular figure quickly rose up the political ladder to become a candidate for President of the United States, won the election despite vicious attacks from the opposition even going so far as to call him a rapist, served four years as President, succeeding in foreign affairs, avoiding wars while reducing corruption from within. But, he lost in the next election, with the opposition promising better times for all Americans. Instead, prices rose and the economy tanked. So, American voted to bring back the previous President, who won both the popular vote and electoral college and went on the serve two non-consecutive terms. Sound familiar? As far as the typical serial killer goes, there haven’t been too many in recent memory. Thankfully, no new names like Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer and Gary Ridgway have been thrust into celebrity status due to their sick and twisted behavior over an extended period of time. However, there was one individual whose story likely would’ve gotten much more media coverage if it weren’t for the fact that his crimes culminated just as the Covid-19 Pandemic was kicking off the in the United States. The man’s name was Kenyel Brown and despite multiple parole violations and a history of criminal activity, he was repeatedly released back into society and ultimately, it cost 6 innocent people their lives. Unlike the previous examples though, he didn’t kill out of some sick sexual perversion or to ensure the victims didn’t talk after a sexual assault. Since starting the Stuff That Happened YouTube channel, I’ve worked on videos about various historic subjects including the 9/11 attack, the Oklahoma City bombing, presidential assassinations, and of course, NASA and project Apollo – the space program that successfully sent the first human beings to the moon.  What I didn’t expect from the comments section was a massive amount of conspiracy theorists who believe 9/11 was an inside job, Oswald was completely innocent, and of course, the moon landing never actually happened.  People love a good conspiracy theory, but I had no idea how deep it went.  I entered into Conspiracy-theory filled rabbit hole on YouTube and discovered just how many of these people exist, and even include actual Flat Earthers who seem to genuinely believe the Earth is a flat like a pancake.
